On the Day of the Dead in Mexico, the border between the living and the dead disappears, and families can reunite with their dead relatives. In Chinese culture, the Tomb-Sweeping Festival is observed by families who bring the deceased offerings such as food and money over a reunion.  

Rumspringa is an Amish tradition. 16 year old Amish youth spend a year outside of their isolated community, engaging with the outside world (e.g. modern technology and clothing) without having to adhere to their strict religious norms. Individuals can choose to return to their community and enter the Amish Church, or continue experiencing non-Amish life after their Rumspringa.
